1. Introduction

Cabelio, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Cabelio Systems website (this "Site"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit the Site, contact us about manufacturing services, or apply for a job.

Our separate harness design platform, Cabelio, is offered at cabelio.com. That product has its own privacy practices; this policy applies only to this Site unless we tell you otherwise.

2. Information we collect

The personal information we collect is what you choose to send us; we do not require an account to use the Site. We also use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool to understand how the Site is used in aggregate, which does not identify you or track you across other websites.

• Quote and contact requests: When you use our Request a Quote / Contact form, we collect the information you submit: your first and last name, email address, company, industry, optional estimated quantity and target timeline, your project description, and any files you attach. Your submission is delivered to us by email so we can evaluate your request and respond to you.
• Job applications: When you apply through our Careers pages, we collect the information you submit: your name, email address, phone number, your answers to the role's screening questions, and the resume and any cover letter you upload. We use this to evaluate your application and contact you about it.
• Communications: Content of emails or other messages you send us in connection with the Site or our services.
• Usage analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool, to collect aggregated, anonymous information about how the Site is used, such as pages viewed, the referring site, and general device, browser, and country information. It does not use cookies, does not identify you, and does not track you across other websites.

We do not use this Site to operate user accounts or harness design projects. If you create an account or upload designs on cabelio.com, that activity is governed by the privacy information provided there.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Respond to quote requests and other inquiries.
• Communicate with you about your project or our capabilities.
• Review and evaluate job applications and contact applicants.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our business operations.
• Comply with law and protect the security and integrity of our systems.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of vendors to run the Site and respond to you: a hosting provider (for example, Vercel) that serves the Site, an email delivery provider (for example, Resend) that transmits your form and job-application submissions to us, and a cloud database and file-storage provider (Supabase) that stores job applications and the resumes you upload. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service, under their own terms and privacy policies. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool, for aggregated usage statistics; it does not collect personal information or set cookies. We do not use advertising networks.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with these service providers as needed to run the Site, or when required by law.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-friendly: it measures aggregate usage (such as page views) without cookies, without identifying you, and without tracking you across other websites. Aside from this, we do not use cookies, advertising pixels, or other tracking technologies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (which can include IP addresses) for security and reliability; we do not use those logs to track or identify individual visitors. If we add cookies or additional tracking in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.

6. Data retention

We retain quote and contact information for as long as needed to respond to you, manage potential business relationships, and meet legal or operational requirements. We keep job application materials, including resumes and cover letters, for as long as needed to evaluate your candidacy and for a reasonable period afterward to consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them. Technical logs may be retained for a shorter period for security and troubleshooting.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to processing. To make a request, contact us using the information below.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
